Tokyo’s Viral Donut Sensation Lands in Times Square

Sausage in a Blanket: 154 W 45th St, New York, NY 10036
Chef Ryouta Hirako, known for his signature “Nama”-style doughnuts, opened the Times Square shop as his first U.S. location.
These doughnuts are ultra-light, melt-in-your-mouth, and already generating buzz with NYC foodies.
The menu offers a variety of sweet and savory options, from matcha and PB&J to a vegan doughnut created specifically for American customers.
More adventurous flavors like Sake Cream and Sausage in a Blanket are also on the lineup, though some may divide opinions.
One unexpected hit? A doughnut filled with scrambled eggs that’s turning heads and challenging breakfast norms.
For savory lovers, the doughnut BLT and chicken teriyaki burger are must-tries.
The minimalist space features an open kitchen, letting guests watch the doughnut magic happen in real time.
With lines already forming, the shop has implemented a streamlined ordering system to keep things moving smoothly.
Whether you're after sweet, savory, or just curious, this spot offers something new for every kind of eater.

Best way to spend a $1
Seamless is making waves once again with the return of its beloved $1 cheese slice promotion.

It’s a tasty way to enjoy a classic NYC slice without breaking the bank.
2 Bros. Pizza expressed excitement about joining the promo, calling it a fun way to connect with both locals and tourists.
The promotion aims to spotlight small businesses while treating New Yorkers to an unbeatable deal.
Pizza lovers can find the full list of participating pizzerias online.
So if you’re craving cheesy, doughy deliciousness, this is your sign to head to your nearest spot and grab a slice.

Participants can expect a 2–4 hour route that stops at five well-rated spots, offering dumplings, bagels, croissants, pizza, and ice cream.
The crawl also includes 15 West Village landmarks, designed to break up the eating with some classic NYC scenery.
Each kit comes with a tote bag, menus, scorecards, and trivia to guide the experience.
